Expertise

Josée Bérubé joined the Provencher_Roy team in 2015, after having been with Cardinal Hardy for over 20 years, notably as a partner. With degrees in architecture and urban planning, she plays an important role in urban design, making sure buildings and urban spaces provide a harmonious and lively setting. Josée has contributed to numerous projects, providing design for Place Pasteur in Montreal’s Quartier Latin, urban land use design for Viger Square and Phillips Square, and project management for the Master Plan of the Canada Science and Technology Museum and the Master Plan of the Radio-Canada site.

Josée is actively involved in the field of sustainable development. She is chair of the board of directors of the Réseau de transport métropolitain ; a member of the Urban Planning Advisory Committee for Verdun/Île-des-Sœurs for a three-year term ; and since 2012 a member and vice-chair of the Jacques-Viger Committee, an advisory panel of the Ville de Montréal on matters of urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture and design, and sustainable development. She is a member of the Urban Planning Committee of the Urban Development Institute. Since 2012, she has been an appointed member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), an established body in the real estate sector. As well, she is a lecturer, sits on a number of juries, contributes to the establishment of university programs, and participates in numerous roundtables on issues related to conversion, historical value, housing, urban design, and sustainable development.
