Expertise

Eugenio Carelli has been a member of the Provencher_Roy team since 1993 and a partner since 2010. He has devoted his career to the design and execution of numerous developments, many of them on a large scale. His work as both a designer and project leader has given him a keen knowledge of every stage of an architectural project. His great versatility makes him a valued collaborator, and his professional footprint is visible in Montréal’s urban landscape.

Eugenio currently heads the Îlot Balmoral project, a building with a unique architectural signature and with LEED Canada NC Gold certification in its sights. In addition, he is a member of the Carré Saint-Laurent design team. Earlier, he worked on the Casino de Montréal Phase II project, which won numerous awards, including 2014 Project of the year in the Grands Prix du Design, and before that on the Ritz-Carlton Hotel project, winner of the 2013 Grands Prix du Design award in the hotel category and recognized for heritage integration in an urban setting. Eugenio’s career has included teaching, at the McGill University School of Architecture (2005-2008) and as a guest critic at the Université de Montréal.
