Expertise

Line Belhumeur joined the firm in 1984 and became a partner in 1991. Thanks to her numerous architectural interventions, in the areas of renovation and expansion, among others, she has acquired considerable expertise in project management and coordination. She has worked on numerous large-scale projects, particularly in the transportation sector, such as the Integrated Centre for the Ministère des Transports and the Québec’s Rolling Stock Management Centre (MTQ-CGER) and the Train de l’Est. She brings to her work teams a solid knowledge of the requirements of each stage of a project, from the study and design phases to production and site supervision.

Because she is able to see the big picture on a project and to master its many constraints, the solutions she proposes are feasible ones, which makes her an ideal project manager for complex buildings. Ms. Belhumeur has experience with projects involving : highly specific environmental controls necessitated by the use of sophisticated equipment ; buildings with heritage or historical value ; stringent security or acoustic constraints ; tight deadlines and budgets ; multiple stakeholders and a complex decision-making hierarchy. Consequently, she adapts with ease to each project and makes effective decisions.
