Expertise

Mélissa Bélanger, who has training in urban planning and a degree in architecture from Université de Montréal (2002), joined the firm in 2005. Her wide range of previous experience has given her solid expertise in the field of renovation, redevelopment and recycling of existing buildings, as well as new construction. She was nominated for the 2002 award for excellence in architecture for Université de Montréal graduating class projects. In 2006 her team won an Award of Excellence in Steel Construction, residential projects/ renovations category, CISC-ICCA for the Les Brises du Fleuve residential project in Verdun.

Melissa has served as project manager on several institutional developments, such as the extensive redevelopment work on Pavillon Decelles at Université de Montréal, and the Poste du Bout-de-l’Île and Romaine II projects for Hydro-Québec. She was also a member of the development and execution teams for the Complexe sportif Bell-Canadiens Centre in Brossard, expansion of the Legendre Garage and the design of the new Société de transport de Montréal body shop. In addition, she is responsible for application of the ISO 9001 : 2008 norm for which Provencher_Roy is certified.
