Expertise

Richard Noël joined Provencher_Roy Interior Design as a partner in 2006, after being a partner with Auclair Noël Designers for over a decade. Thanks to his impressive experience spanning more than a quarter century in interior design, he has considerably strengthened the firm’s standing in the field of office design, an area of expertise that has earned him a solid reputation in the industry. Richard is remarkable for his social skills, his personable approach with clients, and his ability to understand a project’s core issues. All of which makes him a collaborator who ensures the success of each of his projects, thanks to a blend of rigour, consistency, proactiveness and innovation. Responsible partner for Desjardins’ AccèsD project, he has in recent years worked on a good many spaces that have distinguished themselves, most notably the new offices of SOCAN and the Desjardins Corner.

Richard keeps a high profile within the design community. He contributes to the advancement of the profession across the province through the Association professionnelle des designers d’intérieur du Québec (APDIQ), and at the national level through the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC), where he is involved in activities aimed at promoting the profession and in public outreach and education initiatives. He has helped organize numerous events that promote excellence in the profession, such as the FERDIE Awards and the Herman Miller event, and is committed to mentoring the next generation of interior designers through his work at a number of teaching institutions.
