Autodesk – Office

The lobby of THIS SPACE was an almost bare room with exposed structural steel and a waxed con-crete floor. The plan to create a reception desk with a lounge and an informal meeting area had to take these elements into account. To assure complete flexibility, no walls were added to the existing space.

Natural light is used to delineate certain areas, and the addition of a removable screen makes it possible to reconfigure the space easily at any time. The contrast between the unfinished space with exposed steel beams and the romantic forms of the white furniture, chairs and armchairs is a perfect reflection of the company’s youthful, dynamic character.

Functional and easy to maintain, the cafeteria features three distinct zones each with a different ambiance: the bar, the lounge and the cafeteria style dining room offering a unique view of the downtown area.
