Campo

Located in downtown Montreal, Campo, a Portuguese rotisserie serving 100% grain-fed, free-range chicken, is the Ferreira group’s fourth dining establishment. Here, guests are invited to order their meal at the counter, as casually as at a fast-food restaurant, which challenged the designers to create a friendly, welcoming space where dining is uncomplicated.

The floor of the 35-seat restaurant is covered with earthenware tiles bearing geographic motifs, as is the order counter, a reference to the owners’ Portuguese roots. Above the kitchens, a mezzanine houses the group’s warehouses.

The ubiquitous woodwork on the walls, tables and banquettes, as well as the lighting fixtures, create a warm setting and a relaxed vibe. Illustrations depict the restaurant’s flagship dish with humour, bringing a touch of gaiety and colour, while red neons heighten the rotisserie feel.
