Honoré-Mercier Hospital Centre

Built in 1971, the prefabricated concrete panel shell of the Honoré-Mercier Hospital Centre has progressively degraded over the years. In 2002, the Richelieu Yamaska Health Network thus decided to carry out a complete decontamination and rehabilitation of its facilities.

The second phase of work consisted of a complete decontamination and a major rehabilitation of the Hospital Centre, including a complete overhaul of all the institution’s departments and services.

Phase II programme:

  • reconditioning of the building’s exterior shell;
  • microbial decontamination;
  • functional and technical redevelopment;
  • upgrade to construction and healthcare standards.
