The site was originally occupied by a 120-acre racetrack. A master plan calls for transforming it into the first botanical garden in Pakistan and adding a multidisciplinary complex consisting of a computing centre, a mall, a hotel and a convention centre, in addition to a high-density residential complex. A 52-storey tower housing hotel rooms and condominiums and a 30-storey office tower form a monumental gateway, the main access to this impressive project.
