Technopôle Angus project gets LEED PLATINUM Certification

11_09_2018

Provencher_Roy is proud to announce that the Technopôle Angus ecodistrict has obtained LEED® v4 Platinum certification. LEED®, one of the most popular and rigorous rating systems worldwide, is an independent certification program for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of sustainable buildings and neighbourhoods. LEED-ND (Neighborhood Development) certification aims to reduce the impacts of urban growth on the environment and on citizens by encouraging intelligent neighbourhood design, sustainable mobility and economic vitality. Within this certification, reaching this level remains an exceptional feat. The Technopôle Angus project stands out thanks to the tremendous commitment of its dedicated team, an intensive integrated design process, deep sensitivity to context, and compliance with stringent performance standards.

Located in the heart of Rosemont La-Petite-Patrie, a residential Montréal neighbourhood, the mixed-use project will transform a former industrial park into an urban village where businesses and families coexist in a vibrant, welcoming and environmentally responsible community. The green neighbourhood is designed by multidisciplinary firm Provencher_Roy in collaboration with NIP Paysage, Vinci Consultants and Pageau Morel associés as part of an expanded integrated design process begun in 2012. Technopôle Angus is led by the Société de développement Angus. Construction continues until 2025.
