Fabienne Boureau

A graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Bretagne in Rennes, Fabienne Boureau has nearly 20 years of experience as an architect in France and Québec. She joined the Provencher_Roy practice in 2017, as Director of Programming, and became a partner in 2021. Synthesizing real estate analyses, master plans, and functional and technical programs spanning over 60 projects, throughout her career, Fabienne has developed a varied expertise between project management, design and programming in the institutional realm, particularly in the health care sector.

As part of the Advocate Architect team dedicated to the preliminary development of the new Hôpital de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, she is responsible for designing the mental health units, as well as the specialized general outpatient clinics, renal replacement unit, and oncology department. She is the Assistant Project Manager for the Maisons des aînés in east Montréal. Fabienne also acts as a functional designer for the real estate analysis of the Lachine Hospital campus redevelopment, as a programmer for the real estate analyses of Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont, Hôpital Pierre-Le Gardeur, and Hôpital de Mont-Laurier; and as deputy project manager for the functional programming and real estate analysis of the Regroupement des Centres Jeunesse des Laurentides.

Her superior programming skills are also expressed in the university sector (Pavillon Lucien-Brault and Pavillon Alexandre-Taché redevelopments at the Université du Québec en Outaouais). From the moment Fabienne entered the profession, she has tackled an eclectic range of conceptual and spatial approaches as a project and competition manager. This versatility, along with her skills in communication and dissemination, has led her to develop a parallel expertise culture, in scenography, design, and exhibition planning
