Richard Noël

A graduate of the Université du Québec à Montréal in environmental design, Richard Noël has nearly forty years of professional experience as an interior designer. After seven years of practice with Moureaux Hauspy Associés Designers, he joined Provencher_Roy in 2006 as a partner.

His extensive experience in office design and fit-up has contributed significantly to the firm’s strategic consolidation. Richard Noël actively participates in promoting interior design as a profession by organizing activities and events such as the Prix Intérieurs FERDIE, an initiative of the Fonds d’études et de recherches en design intérieur de l’Est. He has worked tirelessly in promoting professional recognition for interior designers, soliciting the support of various levels of government. Richard is also implicated in training the next generation of designers, working closely with several educational institutions. He was instrumental in establishing Québec’s first university program in interior design, offered at the Université de Montréal since 1998, where he teaches.

A generous, sensitive and empathetic individual, Richard’s professional approach is marked by rigour, open-mindedness, energy and humility, and he is unanimously appreciated by clients and collaborators alike. As a partner, he works as a project manager on projects of all scales, such as the redevelopment of vacant spaces in the Montréal tower for Desjardins’ Accès D group and the executive offices of Walter Financial.
