The design of the Java U outlet located at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport is thoroughly inspired by the Canadian forest, giving visitors to the country an immersive reception experience from the get-go. The café’s focal point is the far wall, which features a graphic representation of birch trees. At the base of the trees, small, comfy armchairs in autumnal hues are arranged around accent tables. Along the side wall, the same birch trees appear as a reverse, negative image. The rest of the space is filled with tables of varying sizes, surrounded by black chairs.
Café Java U
A bespoke lamp hangs from the ceiling, evoking dead leaves swirling in an October breeze. The food service area and the far wall feature wood panelling. The overall feel is contemporary and warm; the space is welcoming to patrons and inviting to passersby.
