Junior interior designer

The interior design team at Provencher_ Roy is currently looking for a Junior Interior Designer. Tasks may include :

• Produce plans, working drawings, specifications and other related documents;
• Review and approve shop drawings;
• Carry out space planning studies, design concepts and furniture selection with the project manager;
• Prepare plans and models for presentation to the customer;
• Carry out space surveys, inventories and furniture recommendations (if required);
• Perform area calculations.

 

DESIRED SKILLS

• BAC and/or DEC in interior design;
• A minimum of two (2) years experience;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD;
• Proficiency in Revit is an asset;
• Knowledge of SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop;
• Excellent communication skills in both official languages (Frequent interaction with English-speaking partners and customers, or participation in meetings in English with the Ottawa office).
