Provencher_Roy is currently looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer.

Your tasks may include :

  • Work on programming and planning studies;
  • Perform architectural site assessments and furniture inventories;
  • Meticulously prepare working drawings, cost estimates and detailed design specifications for permits and tenders;
  • Verify the accuracy of your work and ensure that it is carried out to the highest standards;
  • Prepare and attend customer presentations;
  • Coordinate with the partner in charge, colleagues, customers and engineers on a wide range of projects;
  • Contract administration: review and approve shop drawings, prepare site documentation, attend site meetings;
  • Manage projects and maintain positive customer relations.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • BAC and/or DEC in interior design;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop;
  • Knowledge of Revit (an asset);
  • Member of APDIQ;
  • A minimum of five years' experience as an Interior Designer;
  • Experience working on government projects; knowledge of Workplace 2.0 or GC workplace standards and prepare specifications for PSPC furniture procurement (an asset);
  • Creative talent and passion for design;
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail;
  • Bilingual in French and English.
