Provencher_Roy is currently looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer.
Your tasks may include :
- Work on programming and planning studies;
- Perform architectural site assessments and furniture inventories;
- Meticulously prepare working drawings, cost estimates and detailed design specifications for permits and tenders;
- Verify the accuracy of your work and ensure that it is carried out to the highest standards;
- Prepare and attend customer presentations;
- Coordinate with the partner in charge, colleagues, customers and engineers on a wide range of projects;
- Contract administration: review and approve shop drawings, prepare site documentation, attend site meetings;
- Manage projects and maintain positive customer relations.
DESIRED SKILLS
- BAC and/or DEC in interior design;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop;
- Knowledge of Revit (an asset);
- Member of APDIQ;
- A minimum of five years' experience as an Interior Designer;
- Experience working on government projects; knowledge of Workplace 2.0 or GC workplace standards and prepare specifications for PSPC furniture procurement (an asset);
- Creative talent and passion for design;
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail;
- Bilingual in French and English.
