The interior design team at Provencher_ Roy is currently looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer. Tasks may include :

Work on programming and planning studies;
Perform architectural site assessments and furniture inventories;
Meticulously prepare working drawings, cost estimates and detailed design specifications for permits and tenders;
Verify the accuracy of your work and ensure that it is carried out to the highest standards;
Prepare and attend customer presentations;
Coordinate with the partner in charge, colleagues, customers and engineers on a wide range of projects;
Contract administration: review and approve shop drawings, prepare site documentation, attend site meetings;
Manage projects and maintain positive customer relations.

DESIRED SKILLS

BAC and/or DEC in interior design;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop;
Knowledge of Revit (an asset);
Member of APDIQ;
A minimum of five years' experience as an Interior Designer;
Experience working on government projects; knowledge of Workplace 2.0 or GC workplace standards and prepare specifications for PSPC furniture procurement (an asset);
Creative talent and passion for design;
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail;
Bilingual in French and English.
