Provencher_ Roy is currently looking for a BIM Coordinator.The position will offer its future holder the opportunity to accomplish various challenges such as:

  • Participate in the realization of architectural projects (concept, preliminary, execution, site);
  • Participate in structuring corporate projects in support of the BIM Manager;
  • Create Revit content (family and/or project specific);
  • Support the BIM manager in the drafting of BIM management plans;
  • Ensure the application and achievement of the project's BIM objectives;
  • Ensure the follow-up of internal BIM processes;
  • Ensure internal training and support to project teams;
  • Ensure Revit models are started according to internal processes;
  • Perform model control and coordination tasks;
  • If applicable, supervise 3D coordination on projects (interference detection);
  • If applicable, integrate and manipulate point clouds;
  • Collaborate and participate in the development of the firm's processes and standards;
  • Participate in technology watch and internal development.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Architectural technologist or technician (or related, if relevant experience);
  • 5 years of experience in BIM coordination (or as a resource person);
  • Good knowledge of BIM processes, BIM tools and their impacts;
  • Experience in team support;
  • Any certification is an asset;
  • Good listening and analytical skills;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Rigorous and methodical;
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Autonomy and initiative;
  • Strong interest in software and ability to learn independently;
  • Fluency in French required; 
  • Excellent command of Revit (Revit Professional certification is an asset);
  • Good knowledge of Navisworks;
  • Basic knowledge of other Autodesk AEC suite software and BIM 360;
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word;
  • Dynamo (an asset).
