Provencher_Roy is currently seeking a landscape architect with at least 5 years of experience. We are looking for someone who is sensitive to sustainable design and capable of translating client needs into aesthetic, realistic, and distinguished solutions. This position offers the opportunity for both personal and professional fulfillment through a variety of tasks, including:
• Actively participating in the design and execution of various public and private projects;
• Taking charge of certain projects;
• Contributing to the follow-up and coordination of projects with the project team’s consultants;
• Designing innovative planting strategies, including green infrastructure planning;
• Preparing budget estimates;
• Developing grading and drainage strategies;
• Creating technical details;
• Participating in the preparation of construction drawings and specifications;
• Performing site supervision.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture;
• Or a bachelor's in environmental design with a master's in landscape architecture;
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape architecture;
• Registered member in good standing with the Quebec Association of Landscape Architects (AAPQ);
• Solid understanding of all project phases, from concept to implementation, for both public and private developments;
• Knowledge of design standards, building codes, and municipal regulations;
• Strong knowledge of plant species, materials, construction techniques, and assembly principles;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhinoceros 3D or SketchUp; knowledge of Revit is an asset;
• Advanced proficiency in French and intermediate English skills;
• Autonomy, initiative, versatility, attention to detail, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary firm;
• Strong writing skills for letters and reports;
• Strong planning and organizational abilities;
• Completion of the health and safety course for construction sites and holder of the ASP Construction certificate.
