Provencher_ Roy is currently seeking a junior landscape architect.The position will offer its future holder the opportunity to accomplish various tasks such as :
- Take charge, in whole or in part, of landscape architecture projects from conception to completion, bringing sensitivity and experience to every stage;
- Participate in the development of innovative landscape concepts;
- Coordinate and monitor project progress, ensuring smooth and efficient execution;
- Participate in the development and preparation of plans and specifications;
- Develop technical details such as custom-made street furniture;
- Design distinctive plant strategies that transform spaces and set them apart through their aesthetics and functionality;
- Promote landscape architecture within a growing multidisciplinary firm, where design and sustainable development are at the heart of every project.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in landscape architecture, BAC in environmental design or related field;
- Good knowledge of the various stages from design to completion of public and private development projects;
- Design skills for all types of outdoor projects (institutional, parks and playgrounds, streetscaping and public squares, as well as private and commercial projects).
- Knowledge of plants, materials, design and assembly principles, as well as construction techniques;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Rhinoceros 3D or SketchUp;
- Advanced level of French;
- Autonomy, initiative, versatility, rigor and interest in teamwork and working in a multidisciplinary firm;
- Ability to write letters and reports;
- Good planning and organizational skills;
- Preferably have already taken the Health and Safety on Construction Sites course and hold ASP Construction certification (Asset);
- Be a member in good standing of the Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec (candidates with trainee membership will be considered);
