Provencher_ Roy is currently looking for an Assistant to the IT directorwho will be responsible for developing customized IT solutions and coordinating projects. The position will offer its future incumbent the opportunity to accomplish various challenges such as :
- Identify and analyze business needs and model processes;
- Contribute to strategic planning and management of information systems;
- Develop IT solutions based on process modeling;
- Diagnose and provide solutions to IT issues;
- Coordinate projects by ensuring collaboration between the various stakeholders (technical and business);
- Communicate results and conclusions with pedagogy and efficiency;
- Write technical documents and Business Relationship Specifications (BRD);
- Assess the profitability and risks of proposed solutions;
- Test, verify and validate implemented solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or IT project management
- Minimum 7 years experience in a similar role;
- Experience in project planning and coordination
- Solid knowledge of computer science and complex modeling techniques;
- Experience in technical writing and BRD creation (an asset);
- Analytical, advanced conceptual and leadership skills;
- Proficiency in business requirements planning, documentation, analysis and management techniques;
- Experience in object-oriented analysis and profitability/risk assessment (an asset).
- Skills in strategic planning and business process improvement (an asset).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Curiosity about operations and business.
