Provencher_ Roy is currently looking for a sustainability coordinator with an energy profile with an urban profile. The position offers its future holder the opportunity to accomplish various challenges such as :

  • Actively participate in large-scale, sustainable, and resilient project development.
  • Support stakeholders in integrating sustainability principles, climate adaptation, and environmental certifications for buildings, infrastructures, and master plans.
  • Contribute to the production of technical documents required for projects at various stages (master plans, design, execution, construction monitoring, operations, etc.) across diverse project types (infrastructure, mobility, mixed-use, industrial, health, cultural, public, etc.).
  • Coordinate and monitor sustainable and resilient projects with clients, professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and other tasks related to sustainable architecture, urban ecology, or other ecological and social initiatives.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Degree in architecture, environmental design, urban design, urban planning, environment, or engineering related to the construction field (minimum college diploma).
  • Experience or interest in ecological and sustainable projects (e.g., Envision, LEED, Zero Carbon Building, Sites).
  • Strong knowledge of software such as Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD.
  • Organizational skills, rigor, and versatility (ability to work on several projects simultaneously).
  • Autonomy, adaptability, and excellent teamwork abilities in multidisciplinary settings.
  • Diplomatic, proactive, and dynamic attitude.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and oral).

ADDITIONAL ASSETS:

  • Membership in a Quebec professional association or order.
  • Accreditation such as ENV SP, LEED GA, LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP ND, or SITES AP.
  • Experience with integrated design processes.
  • Knowledge of bioclimatic analysis software.
  • Familiarity with BIM software like Revit.
