Accounting Analyst

We are currently seeking an Accounting Analyst. The primary workplace is located at our Saint-Jacques Street offices, with occasional travel to our Alexandra Street location. This position offers its future holder the opportunity to take on a variety of exciting challenges, including:
- Planning, monitoring, and analyzing project costs and performance to ensure the project remains within budget and schedule while meeting quality standards and client expectations
- Developing budgets, timelines, resources, and key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Monitoring project progress, including cost tracking and risk assessment, identifying variances from the plan, and proposing corrective actions;
- Gathering and analyzing data to provide insights into project performance and support decision-making;
- Managing client billing by project, tracking accounts receivable aging, and evaluating work in progress (WIP);
- Overseeing project cash flow;
- Preparing weekly reports for key stakeholders;
- Coordinating project financial management with partners.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma (DEC) required; bachelor’s degree is an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a construction firm
- Knowledge of MS Project and strong proficiency in Excel (major asset)
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support informed decision-making
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders, presenting information clearly and concisely
- Solid understanding of budgeting and basic accounting principles to assess project costs and performance
