NCC board approves plan for Terrasses de la Chaudière

We are pleased to relay the attached articles reporting the National Capital Commission Board of Directors approval of our project in Gatineau, Terrasses de la Chaudière. In their review of the redesign of the facades, they praised the transformation of the project into a world class complex. The design is based on replacing the deteriorated brick/concrete panels with the innovative solution of using CLT (cross laminated timber) as the main building material. This approach will capitalize on the sustainable properties of wood, including the inherent insulation values and local sourcing. The project was also positively received in presentations made to the City of Gatineau and the Departmental Representatives of those now located in the project.

The project has been developed by Provencher_Roy et NORR in joint venture.
