Allan Simon

Partner, Architect, OAQ

A graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Versailles in 2005, Allan Simon has acquired 15 years of experience as an architect. Following his work with Ateliers Lion Architectes in Paris and 10 years as a project director at Forme Studio Architecture in Montréal, he joined Provencher_Roy in 2019 and became a partner in 2021. From conceptual sketching through to project execution, Allan has honed his technical savvy and mastery of residential standards and regulations, through his contributions to the conversion of historical buildings into residential and commercial spaces (Le Brickfields, 831 Rockland); and development of new residential projects (Avenue 32, Central Parc Laval) and eldercare residences (Résidence Jazz in Ste-Foy, Maison des aînés in Châteauguay and Valleyfield).

Especially attuned to creating unique living spaces that are both anchored within their immediate environments and harmoniously integrated into their built heritage contexts, Allan Simon demonstrates his experience in conceptualization through his role as project manager in the development of Quartier des lumières, a residential complex on the historic Radio-Canada site; and of Lot 6, a residential and commercial complex in Laval. He brilliantly employs an approach and architectural language centred around eco-responsibility and user quality of life.
