Brent Swanson
Partner, Interior Designer, APDIQ, ARIDO, IDC, NCIDQBrent Swanson is a talented interior designer with over 25 years’ experience, notably since 1992 with Moureaux Hauspy, now Provencher_Roy Interior Design, where he became partner in 2013. As project director, Brent supervises all design and execution processes, and is particularly adept at crafting original, customized solutions to respond to client needs, unforeseen circumstances in the field or changes to the mandate. This great capacity to quickly adapt to a project’s evolving constraints, combined with his well-honed interpersonal skills, make him an exceptional asset to the team and a genuine added value for the mandates entrusted to us.
Brent works chiefly on projects involving office spaces, institutional settings, and leisure facilities such as hotels, spas and casinos. He is used to large-scale projects with multiple constraints, and possesses vast expertise in the establishment of norms and standards, programs for spatial organization, and concepts for construction, furnishings and signage. His long track record and rigorous approach give him a one-up when it comes to project, budget and schedule management, supplier coordination and multidisciplinary work.
As part of the Provencher_Roy team, he was responsible for the interior design component of the modernization, expansion and renovation of the Casino de Montréal, a most challenging undertaking whose excellence was acknowledged by an award in the 2014 Canadian Interiors Best of Canada design competition, Institutional category, and also for the design of the new Media Experts offices.
