Carolyn Jones

Carolyn is a bilingual Project Architect / Project Manager with over 22 years of professional experience, licensed in Ontario and Quebec and a LEED Accredited Professional.  A particular focus for Carolyn in every stage of a project has been the coordination of large multidisciplinary sub-consultant teams engaged on complex assignments including laboratories, training facilities and transportation.

Her work history has focused on development master planning, client advocacy, programming and predesign services for numerous institutional clients. In this capacity, Carolyn has become a trusted advisor to these clients, including Algonquin College, Collège La Cité and University of Ottawa, who have solicited her advice and support for projects on a continuing basis over the past 15 years.

Carolyn completed the IB Diploma Program in Montreal and then moved to Ottawa, graduating from the Carleton University School of Architecture in 2001. She started her career at IKOY, moving to GRC Architects in 2006 and becoming a principal in 2020. Carolyn has been a member of the Algonquin College Architecture Program Advisory Committee since 2015 and the Advisory Committee for La Cité. Carolyn is known for working closely with stakeholders and user groups, leading engagement sessions that gather information and achieving consensus.
