Céline C. Mertenat

Holder of a master’s in architecture and a master’s in applied sciences, built environments from Université de Montréal, Céline C. Mertenat has been working in the field for 15 years, 10 of which with Provencher_Roy. Passionate about urban sustainable development, she intervenes in projects to maximize the potential for revitalization and resilience of natural, urban, and social environments. In addition to her professional practice, Céline has been involved in the academic world for 15 years, teaching sustainable development – among other subjects – to  students of the bachelor’s in architectural design at Université de Montréal.

Céline demonstrates her brilliant expertise as a project manager and in-depth knowledge of sustainable development in various sectors, including health care (“Growing Up Healthy” CHU Sainte-Justine, certified LEED NC Gold); office space (Îlot Balmoral, certified LEED NC Gold); infrastructures (Darwin Bridges on Nuns’ Island and development of Technopôle Angus green neighbourhood in the east of Montréal, certified LEED ND v4 PLAN).

Céline’s creativity and cross-disciplinary abilities make her a sought-after resource in integrated design, coordination, and delivery of resilient building and sustainable urban design projects.
