Isabelle Fortier

Associate, Architect

A graduate of Université de Montréal in 2004, Isabelle Fortier is an associate with Provencher_Roy. She pursued 4 years of professional practice in France, enabling her to enlarge her perspectives and discover new ways of approaching architectural projects. Isabelle has acquired solid expertise as an architect, particularly in the health care field. Her knowledge and skills have contributed to the construction or redesign of major health care centres, like Centre hospitalier Vaudreuil-Soulanges (2018 to 2022), Hôpital régional de Saint-Jérôme, Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu, Montreal Heart Institute (garnering Special Mention at the Architizer A+Awards 2024 – Hospitals and Healthcare Centers category), Lachine Hospital campus, and more recently, Hôpital de Mont-Laurier and Hôpital de Saint-Eustache – mandates for which she occupies the role of assistant project manager.

A proactive resource with strong listening skills, Isabelle participates in all project phases – from design to execution – and works on programming, feasibility studies, reference model creation, specifications, and project costing estimates at all steps. In fact, in addition to managing the Estimates Committee at Provencher_Roy, Isabelle is a specialist in the Uniformat II estimates model. She thereby contributes to the creation and expansion of numerous clinics, outpatient services, emergency departments, and palliative care environments – in addition to reception and training spaces.
