Laurence Havard
Associate, Architect, OAQ, ENV SP, PMP, LEED Green AssociateAn architectural graduate of Université Laval, Laurence Havard also completed a micro-master’s program in integrated wood construction. Her additional training in sustainable construction has also enabled her to develop and apply innovative solutions to the environmental challenges of today and tomorrow. Her LEED Green Associate and Envision Sustainable Professional accreditations reflect her commitment. Throughout her career path at Provencher_Roy, Laurence also quickly developed her interest and skills in project management, obtaining her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2023. Her unparalleled organizational and teamwork skills have recently been implemented in the context of the Palais de justice de Saint-Hyacinthe project, for which she is assistant project manager.
Since she joined Provencher_Roy in 2016, she has worked on numerous projects of varying scales, from design to construction phases, and including feasibility studies. Realizations she has contributed to have been recognized with prestigious awards of excellence. These include Vendôme metro Aedicule, recipient of the Architectural Design – Transportation Category Architecture MasterPrize in 2023, in addition to the Sustainability and Resilience – Infrastructure Category American Concrete Institute – Quebec and Eastern Ontario Chapter Mention, also in 2023. Laurence also participated in obtaining Envision Gold certification for this project. She has collaborated on additional projects with Architecture Without Borders Quebec (AWBQ) and has been part of the Planning Advisory Committee of Beaconsfield since 2019.
