Mélanie Dupuis
Partner, Architect, OAQ, LEED AP BD+CPartner architect Mélanie Dupuis has been working with the firm since 2007. Having acquired over 20 years of experience, she leads projects in cultural spheres (Place des Arts Esplanade renovation, Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier Colonnade refurbishment, Montréal Biodiversity Centre – at the Jardin botanique); health care (Mental health pavilion of the Hôpital régional de Saint-Jérôme, Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur-de-Montréal, CHUM Research Centre); and sports facilities (Stade Saputo expansion, Stade Hébert dome and artificial field additions). Her expertise lies especially in architectural project management and site supervision. In 2009, she obtained LEED BD+C certification, and since then ensures to apply sustainable development standards and values to all the projects she leads.
Coupled with her expertise, Mélanie Dupuis demonstrates a strong interest in contemporary interventions on works of modern architectural heritage. In fact, she is currently dedicating a large part of her professional practice to transforming and modernizing Place du Portage III (anticipated completion in 2026), a large-scale (150,000 m2 accommodating 6,805 employees) recognized Public Services and Procurement Canada heritage complex aiming for Zero Carbon certification. Characterized by her unparalleled synthesis abilities, she knows how to transform constraints into opportunities, regardless of project size. Her critical approach and energy are precious assets in the successful completion of her mandates.
