Vincent Hauspy

Studio Director, Partner, Designer ADIQ

A graduate of the Université de Montréal in Industrial Design, Vincent Hauspy has some twenty years of professional experience, including fifteen years with the practice of Provencher_Roy, which he joined in 2006. Initially attracted by object design, his interest quickly migrated to furniture design and its configuration in space. Convinced that the added value of interior design goes beyond the choice of finishes and lighting, his approach is rooted in understanding user needs in their everyday context, whether they be professional or residential.

Within the firm, Vincent Hauspy specializes in innovative and flexible design of corporate offices and collaborative work spaces, particularly in the cultural, creative and information technology sectors. He is the Project Manager and Lead Designer for the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) headquarters and the School of Digital Arts, Animation and Design (NAD), both located in the Îlot Balmoral in downtown Montréal, as well as for the offices of Autodesk, Vigilant Global and the new workspaces of the lg2 agency in the Technopôle Angus. He is also conceptualizing the layout of the common spaces and rooms of the new mental health care pavilion at the Saint-Jérôme regional hospital, as well as the kitchens, bathrooms, corridors and common spaces of the Arbora eco-responsible housing project, located in Griffintown.
