Provencher_Roy’s involvement in establishing Canadian LEED v4 guidelines for neighbourhood planning
Congratulations to Guillaume Martel-Trudel and Céline Mertenat, co-responsible for sustainability at Provencher_Roy, for their volunteer work with the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC). They were respectively Chair and member of the volunteer committee in charge of determining specific guidelines necessary to use LEED v4 in the planning of neighbourhoods in Canada. What is LEED v4? According to CaGBC: “LEED v4 is the framework and benchmark for the next generation of green buildings. Its development spanned more than three years, and engaged hundreds of volunteers and thousands of stakeholders around the world. LEED v4 is driving big reductions in GHG emissions associated with building construction and operation, and putting a stronger emphasis on human health.” To read the news.
