It is with great pleasure that Provencher_Roy welcomes Nathalie Dion to its architecture team! She has been involved with the Ordre des architectes since 2005, and has been its president since 2013. Very passionate about her work, Ms. Dion will occupy her role at Provencher_Roy concomitantly with her duties at the OAQ.

“We are very happy to welcome Nathalie to our team. It is a pleasure to work with an architect who is so involved in her field and who is a strong advocate for the advancement of the profession in Québec,” adds Claude Provencher.

About Nathalie Dion

A Université de Montréal architecture graduate from the class of 1988, Ms. Dion earned a certificate of advanced studies in urban architecture at the Paris-Belleville School of Architecture in 1992. The notions acquired during those studies constantly inform her work, enabling her to see the big picture when she works on a project.

She had been vice president of the Ordre des architectes for five years prior to being elected its president in 2013. Her notable accomplishments include steering the project for the new licensing/registration examination at the OAQ, the ExAC, and she has also pursued several vital issues, among them, the role of architecture in the public realm.

Versatile, she practices the profession on a number of fronts, particularly design, project management and work site supervision. Prior to joining Provencher_Roy, Ms. Dion was a partner architect at architecture firm COBALT for seven years. She has also been involved in planning, in her capacity as supervisor at Concordia University’s Department of Planning and Development.
