The joint venture of Provencher_Roy-NORR to design the new exterior cladding of Les Terrasses de la Chaudiere

Provencher_Roy is extremely proud to announce its participation in the design of the new exterior cladding of Les Terrasses de la Chaudiere, in consortium with NORR! “This project will contribute to improving the public space in this complex, will enhance the community, and will help create a better workplace for thousands of public servants,” said Steven MacKinnon, MP for Gatineau and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement, accompanied by Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, Mayor of Gatineau, when the contract was awarded on October 23rd.

This project will modernize the thirty-storey building, the highest in the region, by replacing the brick walls, which are beginning to deteriorate, with a coating that should be lighter, such as glass. “Of all the options that have been studied so far, we are really moving more towards lightness with reflective materials,” adds Claude Provencher, co-founder and senior partner of the firm.
