Provencher_Roy’s Interior Design team is currently seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our Ottawa office.
As part of your role, you may be responsible for:
- Preparing plans, construction drawings, specifications, and other related documents;
- Reviewing shop drawings and coordinating their approval;
- Conducting space planning studies, developing design concepts, and selecting furniture in collaboration with the Project Manager;
- Preparing plans and presentation materials for client presentations;
- Conducting site surveys, as well as furniture inventories and recommendations, as required;
- Performing area calculations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree and/or college diploma (DEC) in Interior Design;
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience;
- Eligibility to obtain a federal Secret-level security clearance — mandatory;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD;
- Proficiency in Revit is considered an asset;
- Knowledge of SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop;
- Student membership with ARIDO or APDIQ is considered an asset;
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
