Provencher_Roy’s Interior Design team is currently seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our Ottawa office.

As part of your role, you may be responsible for:

  • Preparing plans, construction drawings, specifications, and other related documents;
  • Reviewing shop drawings and coordinating their approval;
  • Conducting space planning studies, developing design concepts, and selecting furniture in collaboration with the Project Manager;
  • Preparing plans and presentation materials for client presentations;
  • Conducting site surveys, as well as furniture inventories and recommendations, as required;
  • Performing area calculations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or college diploma (DEC) in Interior Design;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience;
  • Eligibility to obtain a federal Secret-level security clearance — mandatory;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD;
  • Proficiency in Revit is considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop;
  • Student membership with ARIDO or APDIQ is considered an asset;
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
