The objective: to create a guide enabling structured decision-making by the City and determining benchmarks for conveying the strong potential of the former stone quarry. In addition to strengthening Laval’s downtown, the project will truly create an ecosystem comprised of residential units, services, local businesses, and a vast urban park and body of water. Once it has been rehabilitated, the site will benefit the whole community, constituting a refreshing "island" space with a garden running through it.
