Provencher_Roy is proud to welcome its new partner, BBBL (Birtz Bastien Beaudoin Laforest architectes). Claude Provencher, senior partner and cofounder of Provencher_Roy, and Benoit Laforest, principal senior architect at BBBL, announced the agreement May 17, 2018. This association will make it possible to train complete, integrated project teams and to create an exceptional pool of expertise in the health and primary, secondary and higher education sectors. Provencher_Roy will thus have the means to consolidate its position in these sectors of activity.

The move is a logical progression for both entities, whose shared vision of architecture impels them to pursue user-centered architectural intervention that is both authentic and sustainable.

Provencher_Roy and BBBL will continue their activities and pool their efforts in order to provide added-value services through a group of dedicated experts in design, programming and project execution. The firms’ respective places of business will stay where they are, namely Old Montreal and Gatineau for Provencher_Roy and Mile-Ex and Mirabel for BBBL. Moreover, no staff migration or reassignment is planned for current projects. The Provencher_Roy and BBBL teams will bring together more than 300 people.
