The interior design team at Provencher_ Roy is currently looking for a Junior Interior Designer. Tasks may include :
- Produce plans, working drawings, specifications and other related documents;
- Review and approve shop drawings;
- Carry out space planning studies, design concepts and furniture selection with the project manager;
- Prepare plans and models for presentation to the customer;
- Carry out space surveys, inventories and furniture recommendations (if required);
- Perform area calculations.
DESIRED SKILLS
- BAC and/or DEC in interior design;
- A minimum of two (2) years experience;
- Must be eligible to obtain a federal Secret-level security clearance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD;
- Proficiency in Revit is an asset;
- Knowledge of SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop;
- Excellent communication skills in both official languages (Frequent interaction with English-speaking partners and customers, or participation in meetings in English with the Ottawa office).
