A major rail project takes shape in Montréal

On October 8, the groundbreaking ceremony took place for VIA Rail’s new assembly and maintenance facility, a project led by Pomerleau and located in Montréal’s Pointe-Saint-Charles neighbourhood.

Designed by Provencher_Roy, the 9,300 m² building is intended to meet the demands of a large-scale industrial operation: accommodating the assembly of new locomotives, streamlining technical operations and supporting the long-term maintenance of the fleet.

We are proud to contribute to this major renewal of Canada’s rail infrastructure by creating welcoming, sustainable spaces.
