The project enabled the renovation of the existing building as well as the construction of an addition, further reinforcing its integration within the community.

Flexible learning spaces, collaborative zones, inhabitable wall alcoves, and built-in storage define the school's new architectural identity, which now welcomes over 500 students.

In the administrative sector, an opening was created between the main entrance and the front office, and several offices were reconfigured to eliminate borrowed light conditions and to optimize student file storage and organization. The new construction provides the school with seven additional kindergarten classrooms, a room dedicated to psychomotor development, a library and gathering space (the “Knowledge Hub”), a gymnasium, and four offices.

The L-shaped extension encloses a courtyard, toward which the gymnasium’s windows are oriented. Located on the upper level—close to the connection with the existing building and vertical circulation—the “Knowledge Hub” stands out with a strong identity, designed to spark children's curiosity and encourage them to come and read. The use of wood creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, while built-in furniture maximizes usable floor space.

The thoughtful positioning of the new wing allows for optimal natural light. Its perforated aluminum cladding and curtain walls add brightness and contrast to the brick-clad façades. Beyond the expansion of staff parking and the addition of a new student bus drop-off area, a separate entrance has also been created. This allows members of the public to access community activities held at the school outside of regular hours.
