Technopôle Angus is a dynamic eco-district dedicated to local life and employment, located in the heart of the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough.

LEED-ND v4 PLATINUM certified, this sustainable project is built around a network of shared spaces designed to promote citizens' well-being.

Established on a former industrial brownfield, Technopôle Angus revitalizes a once-contaminated site and reintegrates the area into the existing urban fabric. The development plan stands out for its choice of a diverse and permeable built environment, fostering the emergence of a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable neighborhood.

Focused on job creation, the program also integrates residential and commercial components, creating a vibrant living environment that is active at all times. The concept emphasizes functional diversity and a sense of community: the layout includes numerous public squares connected to circulation routes and supports the development of urban agriculture practices.

The integration of a variety of programs also enables the ecological management of resources through the implementation of an energy transfer loop across the entire site. The project captures heat from all available sources — including geothermal wells — and redistributes it to where it is needed.

With the ambition of going beyond LEED standards, Technopôle Angus was designed as an accessible neighborhood, close to a variety of services and public transit, and self-sufficient in its management of water, energy, and waste — all to meet the needs of its residents.
