With a Master’s degree in Architecture from Carleton University in 2020, Caelan Mitchell joined Provencher_Roy in 2022. She has coordinated numerous multidisciplinary teams on complex, large-scale projects across the institutional, academic, mixed-use, and commercial sectors, including both new construction and the revitalization of existing buildings.
Caelan approaches each project with the guiding principle that a collaborative team effort is the foundation of successful design. Her emphasis on clear communication, collaboration, and design excellence has contributed to the successful delivery of highly complex projects.
Caelan is also recognized for her vigor and ability to actively listen and respond to clients’ needs. An effective facilitator, she guides projects through all phases, from early concept to completion.
Beyond her project work, Caelan is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of architects. She actively supports interns as they advance through the Ontario Association of Architects’ (OAA) Internship in Architecture Program on their path to licensure, and volunteers within local design communities such as the Ottawa Regional Society of Architects and Building Equality in Architecture’s Capital Region chapter. Outside of the office, Caelan enjoys to travel and enjoys staying active outdoors, particularly through cycling and skiing.
