As an incubator for start-up companies, BoxOne Labs wanted to create a workplace that reflects its image: open, flexible and innovative.

The project is directly inspired by the name of the organization in order to create a literal “laboratory of ideas”. Its plan is organized around a large volume housing the main incubator, where start-up groups will explore new ideas. These can be transcribed directly on a large whiteboard, or on one of the inscribable glass panels that border the main brainstorming station, overhung by a light reminiscent of operating lamps.

On either side of the incubator, two zones with warmer tones welcome different uses. The lounge supports informal work and meetings, and the acoustically separated glass space is reserved for BoxOne staff. The entire office is nevertheless designed to offer maximum flexibility, through reconfigurable furniture and movable partitions.
