This project adds three main components to the facilities of Montréal-Trudeau International Airport: the Marriott Hotel, the headquarters of Aéroports de Montréal, and the new transborder departures hall.

The architecture and interior design of these spaces are eloquently expressed and reflect the airport’s architectural vocabulary, embodying elegance, fluidity and efficiency.

The architectural expression relies on clear, distinct volumes. The double-height, bright and open transborder hall interlocks with the hotel, appearing to lift it with lightness. Resting on this base is the 11-storey Marriott complex, whose curving façade evokes the elegance of a contemporary residence. The hotel lobby, connected to the terminal, includes a bar, restaurant, café, ballrooms, and conference rooms equipped with the latest technology.

On the festive side of the building, the Media Bar and restaurant can shift their ambiance thanks to large sliding panels. The upper floors feature a wellness center/spa, pool, hot tub, and fitness room. The hotel offers 280 rooms and suites with stunning views. Custom-made carpets and contemporary artworks enhance the refined atmosphere.

The main lobby is organized around a central hearth, radiating into various communal areas. It offers a spacious lounge, a business center, and flexible spaces for a wide range of events.

Above it all, the ADM headquarters, L-shaped in plan, provides spectacular views of the runways and the surrounding city. The offices, bathed in natural light, reflect ADM’s identity through a design inspired by avionics—fluid, airy, and dynamic. The use of cherrywood and diffuse lighting contributes to a productive and invigorating environment.
