Located in the heart of Montréal’s Olympic Park, the project expanded the existing stadium by 13,000 seats, bringing its total spectator capacity to 20,000.
Beyond the major increase in seating capacity, the revitalization of Stade Saputo strengthens the international image of its home team, CF Montréal (formerly known as the Impact).
Provencher_Roy’s intervention provided an opportunity to equip Stade Saputo—a landmark gathering place for soccer fans in Québec—with new sports facilities and fully integrated food services.
Half of the supporters now benefit from covered seating, and the main arena is equipped with a giant screen measuring 11.58 x 4.57 metres. The stadium also includes forty additional corporate suites and three new training fields.
