Principal Partner and President of Provencher_Roy, Claude Bourbeau has over forty years of experience in architecture. He is recognized as a leading authority in environmental innovation and digital transformation within the Canadian architectural sector.

He has contributed to landmark public architecture projects and supported applied research in construction, notably at Laval University’s Industrial Research Chair on Eco-Responsible and Sustainable Construction (CIRCERB), at McGill University’s Building in Advanced Resource Networks (BARN), and at the BIM Chair of the Research Group on Integration and Sustainable Development in the Built Environment (GRID) at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS).

Driven by a commitment to transforming existing buildings, he currently supports Laval University’s Regenerative Repair, Adaptive Reuse, and Circular Economy in Built Environments (RePAIR-CBE) program and is also involved with DOCOMOMO to promote modern heritage.

Active for 30 years within the Association of Architects in Private Practice of Quebec (AAPPQ) and the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ), he remains engaged in the digital transformation of practice and in integrating artificial intelligence to advance innovation and sustainability.
