Jérôme Ferrer’s Europea Restaurant

At once classic and modern, Jérôme Ferrer’s Europea restaurant distinguishes itself through its discreet sophistication and the richness of its materials.

Having established himself at his new location in Montreal’s effervescent downtown in late 2018, the Relais & Châteaux star chef harboured a keen desire to refresh his menu and surprise his customers. From these reflections emerged a concept that has since garnered international plaudits: a grandiose space where patrons could enjoy a moving and intense gastronomic experience that is enhanced by a stylish, timeless decor.

The open layout facilitates orientation and the areas that lead into one another invite discovery.

The initial objective of the project, to emphasize refinement and elegance through the definition of interior volumes, is honored with the thoughtful selection of materials, helping to anchor the restaurant into context. The laboratory kitchen, amply fenestrated, helps liven up the space and contributes to the notion of cooking as performance.
