This project involves the modernization of existing facilities to bring together nearly 500 scientists within a next-generation, energy-efficient research complex. The facility accommodates approximately 80 multidisciplinary laboratories, administrative offices, and storage areas designed to meet the highest standards of performance and functionality.

By creating an integrated and highly specialized research environment, the modernization of the DRDC Valcartier infrastructure strengthens Canada’s defence capabilities through scientific and technological innovation. The project fosters collaboration among experts, supports operational excellence, and showcases the resources and technological expertise that are essential to the organization’s mission.
